    motorcycle tyre
  • Motorcycle tyres provide the only contact with the ground, via the contact patch under normal conditions, and so have a very large influence over motorcycle handling characteristics. Motorcycle tyres have a round cross section to facilitate the leaning necessary when a motorcycle turns.

It was in Hasbrouck heights, NJ where Andy had an apt, In fact that may be his Chevy parked right there in the picture. He did have one just like that, funny story which you may know or not know. It got stolen, so we found it all stripped in the middle of all those gypsy junk yards in the Bronx, it was in the street on milk box's all stripped no wheels, carb, dist, rad, whatever, so we went into the junk yard right there, and the old Patriarch (King sitting there) starts dealing with us, we come to an agreement about getting that car that came to that unfortunate demise right outside his fence running again for a certain fee, seemed like my memory is around 2 something, so the kids start rolling out all the tires and all the stuff just as it came off the car, in a half hour it was ready to roll, could not prove nothing, just pay and drive it home. Andy bought a Rambler there, in fact I think its in the background of one of those BMW pictures, he thought in one of those snow storms he would do his practice figure eights in Modells parking lot on this pristine snow early Sunday am, little did he know there was a pole laying there which he hit, still remember the round dent in the roof from his head in the roof.

I took this photo at a car show recently. I was trying to shoot all three of these Chevels for my friend who owns them. I tried several angles. The time of day is 10:30 am. There were no clouds at all. I held the camera in my right hand and Nikon SB 28 in my left hand. The light was directed up the slope of the hood and lit the bottom of the letters. It helped to soften the shadow produced by the sun. I could not figure out a way to deal with all the white with the equipment that I had. Does anyone have any suggestions for next time?
